The baptism of Armiah Alice Hotchkiss, born 1872 in Halifax, Canada but baptised 1874 in Quebec says that she was the daughter of John William Hotchkiss of Brooklyn, NY and Alice Davis. Is there any way to find out more about John and the Hotchkiss family? Future censuses such as 1910 Armiah states that her father John was from Connecticut, so maybe born there. I really need help regarding this man.
