Hi Pat,
It has been a while. Jim Snow has a web page I can direct you to. It is
called Snow/Lyman Ancestors. James T. Snow at .
His main line is Snow and his linage goes to a David Personeous who is my
grandmother's father.
Now I don't know if this will help or not but my grandmother Anna was
born in Athens, Pa ( I don't have the date handy but can look for it and
give you a general idea as to when that family was there. This might be
a clue to helping you find the right Personeous.
There are also a number of Personeous's in Candor. One is Irene, her
maiden name was Personeous. She married a Tom Craig. I think that is
the right husband.
You can go to the Tioga Co. web page for NY. and put in a query if you
would like.
I think I will send you something else since you mentioned marriage etc.
This may or may not help.
How is the weather? It is our rainy season here now. Will be till about
April. most of the time we get no snow. Although if mother nature
decides to whoop it up a bit she will send ice storms starting end of
Oct. thru Feb. and let me tell you they are something else. Now I don't
mean to say it is a daily occurrence,.
But you know, ya just can't fool around with mother nature. An being the
stubborn gal she is, will do her thing when and where she wants to do it.
