Under "Quick Search" select "Author" and type in "Arch Merrill". When you
get the list of new books, there will be a link near the top for
out-of-print and used titles. Many other bookstores can probably also
search for used books.

Arch Merrill was an editor for many years with the Rochester Democrat and
Chronicle. He wrote a weekly column on local history, I don't know if
anyone has ever compiled them. My father was Brockport correspondent for
the D&C for a long time and I remember meeting Arch Merrill a couple of
times in the 1950s when I was little. The D&C newsroom was on the Main
Street Bridge. The bridge at that time was lined at that time by buildings
over the Genesee River on each side. I didn't even realize there was a
river under them until they tore down the buildings.
