Researching my ggrandfather Daniel WETTLIN, b 1837 in
Neiderbronn-Les-Bains, Alsace, France, emigrated with his older sister Anna
Margurite to Rochester in late 1856. He lived in Rochester and married
Elizabeth MADER or MARTER. They had six or seven children in Rochester and
were in the florist business before moving to Hornell, NY in 1779.
I have been unable to find any records of marriage or births in
Rochester or Monroe County. Any suggestions or leads will be much appreciated.
