I,m searching for any information on my maternal g. grandfather William C. Lubert. He was a tobacco and cotton farmer in S. Carolina during the Civil War era but i'm assuming he moved to Rochester since his daughters lived in Wappingers Falls, Ny, and one of them, my grandmother moved to Rochester. I have no dates for him--just a guesstimate of 1847 as his birthyear. I know this is a long shot----------but as we say in NY State " Hey, yuh never know !" . Thanx Hal Blattenberger
