In my ancestor's 1833 letter he mentions a Mr. Hawkins who traveled with
them. To check out the letter's evidence, today I was back at the
library looking at the index to the passenger list, and found this
HAWKINS family.

HAWKINS, Joseph age 33, occupation-tailor
Elizabeth, age 27
Phoebe, age 5
William, age 3
Sophia, age 5 months

I'm not sure if they settled in the Rochester area or not. If these
names look familiar, please get in touch with me.
