Hello Listers,

To confirm my current interests in Monroe County -

My SAUNDERS g.g.grandfather and family arrived from London, England during 1851.
They were mainly carpenters, builders and plumbers who worked at various times from Exchange Place; Scott Alley and Scott Place.
The family members and their subsequent children lived over the years in 35 South Union (1851-1862); 82 Smith's Arcade (1862-1868); 9 Martin Street (1868-1884); 20 Martin Street (1884-1893); 371/373 Troup Street (1893-1928; 23 Edmunds Street (1894-1960's); 108 Aldine Street(1909-1945).

HARRIS, James and Besse Saunders HARRIS - Lived at 373 Troup Street until 1960.
James died in 1957. Besse worked for John Rogan Printing and moved to 26 Portsmouth Terrace. Believe she died in 1986 but no actual proof.

PARISH, Levi H (a farmer in Greece) married Alice SAUNDERS about 1868. The had two daughters, Lizzie (Born; C1873) and Cora (Born; C1875). I have no idea if they married.
Levi died in 1902 and Alice in 1918. Both buried in Falls Cemetery, Greece.

If anyone has any knowledge of these familes I should be delighted to hear from them.

Stuart,
Edenbridge, Kent, U.K.
