The various families I am researching in Rochester and surrounding area are:

Heick, Charlotta Roedenberger 1798 (Bavaria)-1889
arrived about 1837; is said to have been a seamstress for
for the Rochester family; had one daughter Catherine and
3 foster children Mary (married a Smith), Charles, and one
unknown

Heick, Catherine 1836 (Germany)-1921
married Major John Nicholas Weitzel (died 1884) from
Schlüchtern, Germany; their children were Fred, Eliza, Emma, George, and Lottie (she was a school teacher at PS No. 10 and
died unexpectedly in 1889); Emma married a gentleman named
Krauch

Weitzel, Eliza 1855-1945
married Peter Rapp (died 1935), son of Johann Adam Rapp, Jr.
(family originally from Meckesheim, Germany. Their children
were Art, Charles. Frank, and others. This couple lived at
21 Strong Street.

Rapp, Johann Adam died in the 1850's
married Anna Barbara Popp; she remarried to George
Marburger and had a farm in Greece, NY

Rapp, Charles born about 1879; had a Dry Good's Store which he sold in about
1910; married Bertha Winterstein in 1904

Winterstein, Robert 1844 (Bayreuth)-1945
came to America in the 1870's; married Eliza Laubin (born
1852) in Hartford, Connecticut; had a home on Gorham St. and
later a home at Barnard's Crossing which was sold about 1905.
They then moved to an apartment on Lake Ave. Children
included Bertha, Conrad, Arthur, Eda, and Edward; Eda married
Wolfgang Buedingen.
