Thought I would post my searches again.

I am looking for information on John and Dora Sommers. They came to US
and settled in Rochester or the surrounding area. He was born about
1820. His son Henry was born about 1846 in Germany, but came to United
States when he was 2. Also looking for Henry's wife's family. She was
born Dorothy or Dora Kalar (Koehler, Kahler, Keleher), and they were
also from Germany.

Leads please!
