I have been searching for parents and possible siblings for my Great Great
Grandmother Harriet FISHER BRYANT. I find her in DAR records as Rachel
Harriet FISHER BRYANT. All else she's found as Harriet or Harriet R. I
have information as to her marriage, children, areas they were in and her
husbands family but am still searching for her actual county of birth in
NY. On familysearch there is a Harriet FISHER b. abt 1826 East Mendon,
Monroe County, NY and that Harriet appears to have married a George DAY.
I am curious since that's the closest I've come to a name, State and date
(mine b. in 1826 also) if perhaps my GGGrandmother was married prior to
her marriage to my GGGrandfather Sylvanus BRYANT? Harriet's obit says only
born NY 1826. She was married to Sylvanus according to DAR records 1847
? where. Know Harriet and Sylvanus were in MI in 1850 and had two children
there, Henry Densmore BRYANT and Emma BRYANT, they were also in IL after
that and had a son Franklin P BRYANT. My GGrandmother Almatia Lauretta
BRYANT was b. 1860 IA and Harriet and Sylvanus are buried in IA.
Any help appreciated. Hope to connect with someone here.
