WESTERN NEW YORK DEATHS

MRS. MATILDA ELSWORTH

Wolcott, Nov. 9 - The death of Mrs. Matilda ELSWORTH occurred this morning at
8 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bert LASH, of East Port Bay
street. She was 69 years old and has lived in this vicinity nearly all her
life. She leaves five daughters, Mrs. Ada LIPHART, of Rome; Mrs. Ray SEELYE
and Mrs. Anna ELWORTH, of Syracuse and Mrs. Leonard BAKER, of Mexico; two
sons, George ELSWORTH, of Mexico, and Claude ELSWORTH, of Charlotte; and
twenty-four grandchildren. Funeral will be held at the home of Mrs. Bert
LASH, Sunday at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. H. B. REDDICK, pastor of the Methodist
Church, will officiate. Burial will be at Leavenworth cemetery.

DR. WILLIAM F. JOLLEY

Canandaigua, Nov. 9 - I;; since February last, Dr. William F. JOLLEY, of
Troupsburg, died at the Canandaigua Health Home yesterday, aged 69 years. He
was born at Sodus and graduated from the Philadelphia medical School. He
practiced medicine at Middlesex, Rushville, Atlanta, N. Y., and Troupsburg.
Dr. JOLLEY was a member of the American and State Medical Associations and a
past master of the Troupsburg Masonic lodge, and also a member of the I. O.
O. F. He leaves his wife, a brother and several nephews and nieces. The
funeral will be held from the residence of Charles H. WOOD, his nephew at
Rushville, at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon.

HUGH McSTRAVIC

Canandaigua, Nov. 9 - The funeral of Hugh McSTRAVIC, who died at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. M. E. TOUHEY, of Pleasant street, yesterday afternoon,
will be held from St. Mary's Church Saturday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Burial
will be made in Calvary Cemetery. He was 74 years of age. He leaves four
daughters, Mrs. TOUHEY, Mrs. Joseph MURPHY, of Elbridge, Mass., Mrs. Patrick
DOOLEY, of Phelps, and Mrs. John HOGAN, of Rochester; and two sons, Hugh and
Joseph McSTRAVIC, both of Rochester.

WEDDINGS IN WESTERN N. Y.

CONKLIN - WOODHOUSE

Bath, Nov. 9 - Roy CONKLIN, of Avon, and Miss Martha WOODHOUSE, of this
place, were married last evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Fred WOODHOUSE, Rev. F. G. BRIGGS, pastor of the Mt. Washington Baptist
Church, officiated in the presence of a small company of relatives and
friends. The bride wore a gown of brown silk, and was unattended. Following
the ceremony, a dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. CONKLIN will spend their
honeymoon in Buffalo, Niagara Falls and vicinity. They will make their home
in Avoca, where Mr. CONKLIN is engaged in farming.

CLINE - VAN HOUTE

Wolcott, Nov. 8 - The marriage of Miss Addie VAN HOUTE, only daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Abe VAN HOUTE, of Butler, and Burdette CLINE, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Aaron CLINE, of Lummisville, occurred Wednesday evening at the Presbyterian
parsonage, Rev. C. Clarence BAKER performed the ceremony. They were attended
by Mr. and Mrs. Harvey BENNETT, of Lummisville, sister and brother-in-law of
the bridegroom. After a wedding trip to Rochester and Buffalo they will live
on Mr. VAN HOUTE'S farm, east of Wolcott.

LAIRD - At the residence, No. 91 Cameron street, Friday, November 9, 1917,
Flossie C. LAIRD. She leaves her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. John E.
LAIRD; five sisters, Mrs. R. B. BRIGGS, of Rosell Park, No. ? Mrs. R. J.
LYNCH, Mrs. A. SIMPSON and Irene, of this city; one brother, Harris N., of
Camp Dix, N. J. She was a member of Seneca Review, Lady Maccabees.
-Funeral from the house on Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial at Riverside.

TROUTMAN - Entered into rest, Friday morning, Nov. 9, 1917, at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. William F. ROSS, No. 3 Whalen street, Mrs. Mary A.
TROUTMAN, aged 5? years. Besides her daughter, she leaves two sons, Earl L.
and Percy E. TROUTMAN; one grandson; her mother, Mrs. Sarah PORTER; five
brothers, John, William, George, Joshua and Samuel PORTER; four sisters, Mrs.
Lee GRANGER, Mrs. Samuel WATSON, Mrs. Frank REISINGER and Mrs. Andrew STEVENS.
-Funeral Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home.

VIRGO - Entered into rest, Thursday, November 8, 1917, at Lee's Hospital,
Sidney VIRGO, aged 69 years.
-Funeral will take place Saturday afternoon, November 10, 1917, at 2 o'clock
from No. 88 Clinton avenue north. Burial at Mount Hope cemetery.

BOUTELL - At rest in the home beyond; Wednesday, November 7, 1917, at her
residence, No. 6 Burrows street, Mrs. Lucy A. BOUTELL, widow of W. H.
BOUTELL, aged 45 years. She leaves one sister, Mrs. C. B. WILMOT, of Rome,
Pa., and three brothers, Jesse, Sylvester and Guy BARRUM, of Little Meadows,
Pa.
-Funeral services from the residence No. 6 Burrows street, Saturday, November
10, 1917, at 2 o'clock. Interment in Riverside cemetery.

WILMARTH - At his home, No. 64 Cambridge street, Friday afternoon, November
9, 1917, David G. WILMARTH. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Mrs.
Minne? S. WILMARTH, of this city; two nephews Frank H. DAVIS, of Los Angeles,
Cal., and Charles N. DAVIS, of New London, N. H.; also one niece, Mrs. E. E.
STEVENS(?), of Cheney, Wash.
-Funeral services will be held at his home, No. 64 Cambridge street, Sunday
afternoon, November 11, 1917, at 4 o'clock. Interment at Holden, Mass.

THOMPSON - At the home, No. 97 Barton street, Friday, November 9, 1917,
William Ralph, son of William F. and Frances ?yness THOMPSON, aged 9 years.
Besides his parents he leaves one brother, Garner; two sisters, Mrs. E.
Harrold HOAGLAND and Mrs. Frances.
-Funeral from the house on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

MILEHAM - At Dansville, Friday, November 9, 1917, George E. MILEHAM, of
Wayland, N. Y. The remains will arrive in Rochester, Saturday morning, and be
taken to the home of Franklin JOHNS, No. 73 Walnut street.
-Notice of funeral later.

SMITH - Entered into rest, Thursday evening, November 8, 1917, at her home
No. 40 Webster avenue, Mrs. Bertha BAUMANN SMITH, wife of George SMITH, aged
55 years. Besides her husband she leaves one daughter, Miss Bertha SMITH;
five sons, George, Fred, John, Harold and Elmer SMITH; one brother, John
BAUMANN.
-Funeral Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the house. Burial private.

DAILY RECORD OF DEATH

The funeral of Mrs. Justina PETTER FISHER took place yesterday morning from
the home, No. 524 Chili avenue, at 8:45 o'clock and from St. Augustine's
Church at 9 o'clock. Requiem mass was sung by Rev. John M. PETTER, S. T. B.,
of St. Bernard's Seminary, assisted by Rev. John H. O'BRIEN and Rev. Daniel
O'ROURKE, Rev. Florian REICHERT, C. S. S. R., was in the sanctuary. The
bearers were Robert KOERNER, George A. EMMERICK. Frank J; Fell and Clarence
J. WENDELIN, R. and Joseph J. EMMERICK, sons and grandsons of the deceased.
Interment was at Holy Sepulchre cemetery, where Rev. William KALLACKY
conducted final services.

The funeral of Mrs. Maria A. CORRIN, mother of Mrs. Henry A. STRONG, was held
yesterday from the home of Mrs. STRONG, No. 693 East avenue. Rev. William R.
TAYLOR, D. D., conducted the services at the home and also in the chapel at
Mount Hope cemetery. The pall bearers were H. G. STRONG, George B. MILLER,
Dr. A. S. MILLER, Charles H. MILLER, Dr. J. E. GUIDIN and W. A. WRIGHT.

The funeral of Mrs. Catherine WIEGAAL was held on Tuesday morning at 8:30
o'clock from the home, No. 320 East avenue, and at 9 o'clock from St.
Joseph's Church. Requiem mass was sung. The bearers were John MEYER, Joseph
MEYER, Mr. Berrie Abraham BRINE and C. BAYER. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre
cemetery.

Mrs. Ellen BRINN, wife of John BRINN, died yesterday at No. 109 Broadway. She
leaves three sons, Michael, Patrick and Joseph BRINN; a daughter, Mrs. LARUS,
and two grandchildren.
