I am looking for info on a Joseph C. McCreery family of Rochester, Monroe CO., NY circa 1837. He was born 07/01/1810 in Benton, Ontario Co., NY. He married Abigail VanRiper 11/1830. They lived in NY until 1833 then to Canada until 1837. They settled in Rochester, Monroe Co., NY until 1845. They then moved to Plainsfield Twp., Will Co., IL. I believe this is my ggg grandfather and I am trying to prove it.
