During my search of searching the Ira & Alexander Johnson families of Monroe
county, I have run into another mystery that I hope someone can help clear
up. Is anyone familier with a Florence Ebner who d 22 July 1891 at 144 N.
St. Paul in Rochester, age 31 years? This from a very brief death notice in a
Rochester newspaper, sent to me by a friend many years ago.

I have not been able to link her to either of the Johnson families, yet her
name is one of 4 inscribed on the same tombstone as that of my Alexander
Johnson, in the Brockport Cemetery in Brockport, Monroe, NY. It appears that
Florence (---) Ebner had a son Oscar B who d 02 Dec 1892, age 2 years. One
of the searches I have done is a city directory search for Rochester and she
is at times shown at the same address as others of this surname Ebner but I
cannot link them in any way - not like a census would tell me how they are
related. The first one in which she shows up is 1891-2. I have not found
her any other place for further research. Maybe if someone has access to the
death records, I can find out who she was?
