BAKER, Elder Nathan. Born April 14, 1760. In Revolution from Woodbury, (Litchfield Co.,) Conn. Went to Sandgate, ( Binnington Co.,) VT., in 1785. Then to Salem (Washington Co., N.Y.) and Saratoga,(Saratoga Co., N.Y.) and to Manlius in 1795. At organization of Fayetteville Baptist Church. He went to Pompey (Onondaga Co., N.Y.) just after, and preached there 32 years. He went to Riga, (Monroe Co.,) N.Y. , in 1829, and died there.
