Helen , I hope you get my message. I'm searching for McAuliffes around Olean,N.Y. and around Duluth , Minn. My ggrandpa was Thomas James McAuliffe, born Aug.15,1875 and died in Bradford,Pa. I have a journel with newspaper articles on 2 women he rescued and articles on a Doctor James McAuliffe &his wife's marrage and of their moving to Duluth. I'm not sure now if they could be Thomas' parents or maybe his brother. There was also a John McAuliffe who died a few years ago in Olean, N.Y. I wanted to send this message because I don't know if maybe we might have some connection because of the areas .Well hope to hear from you.
