Dick, thanks so much for your help. I already had the info from the 1920 census, and I knew she wasn't in the 1930 one, but it seems that until I go out to Rochester to see their records, i won't be sure it is my relative( I need to get a death certificate, or check her patient records to see if there is a next of kin listed, she did have children with her husband) if it is my relative, then she was married to a Rhinehart and they had to have divorced because he moved to and remarried in Kentucky. I think in those days insanity was just cause for divorce. I probably ought to check the court records locally for a divorce action but without a year of reference it would be a time consuming job! Of course, maybe he didn't divorce her and the second marriage was illegal. Again, many thanks!!
