I am searching for information on The Marvin Rogers family of Rochester 3rd ward 1850. I have the census record and Marvin was a Grocer, living with him were his wife Emily, and two children Henry and Ellen, and niece Emily Ainsworth. Also with the family were Malachi Moore an inn keeper, and Elisha Patterson. I am wondering if it is posible to find out more about the family then what is in the census are thier any local records I could look at? Such as a guide to local businesses at the time or a written history of the area the family lived? I know nothing about Rochester, I hope someone can help.
