I can't immediately find a connection with a Robert or Rose Kirchgessner in my information on William Kirchgessner. Here is the information I know about William.

William (DOB 1874) has a son Arthur and three daughters, Irene, Cora and Lillian. His wife is Sophia Stehle.
William's father is George Kirchgessner (DOB abt 1854) and his mother is Balbina Bergdorf.

Father of George Kirchgessner is Joseph Kirchgessner and his mother is Eva Hermann. They lived in Syracuse prior to Rochester.
