I am overwhelmed by the quality of research sent
in-reply to my DILL, RIBSTEIN query.
On December 10 and December 11 both
Sandra LUSS and John MERKEL replied to me,
here at the <www.rootsweb.com> bulletin board
for New York State and Monroe County (Rochester area).
Sandra LUSS provided me with 5 fine records
in reference to the Rochester census of 1920, and 1900.
Even more important, she was simply, gracious:
and kindly took it upon herself to research the census
on my behalf.
Thanks to the diligence of Sandra LUSS with the DILL, and
RIBSTEIN query: prayers were answered upon Christmas day.
The truth & beauty to my Catholic heritage is verified.
Not only can I prove my Catholic roots, but the depth
to a branch of my family tree is a tree that happily grew
in Rochester!
John MERKEL also sent a prompt reply with fine results
of diligent research about the DILL: the Catholic marriage
in 1891 of my great-grandmother, that RIBSTEIN,
Gertrude, whom became a DILL, by marrying Joseph.
TWO Catholic marriages!
Between 1887 and 1891, between the RIBSTEIN sisters.
Christine married first and thus became a RIPPIN.
The happiness of this fruition is found by the good research
of Sandra LUSS, and John MERKEL..
Bill SAUERS of present-day-Rochester is a fine researcher,
indeed. He was THE FIRST to reply
to my DILL, RIBSTEIN query at www.rootsweb.com!
Much thanks is to be given for
the caring of people like Bill SAUERS. He has the diligence to diagram his own family tree, for 8 (eight!) generations!
Bill SAUERS included DILL of Rochester in his own tree.
The fruits of their labor, of all three researchers, means much
to me. Bill SAUERS seems to take well to the task
in present-day-Rochester to understand records there.
www.rootsweb.com is a good service provided for us
with the interest & passion for genealogy & roots.
However, the quality & the timeliness of the researchers
makes ALL the difference!
Again, I am overwhelmed with
some prayers answered ON CHRISTMAS DAY.
Bill SAUERS. Sandra LUSS, and John MERKEL,
enabled the good records to strengthen my family tree.
With Gratitude,
Amy SPANEL
