I just posted an old newspaper ad run by Charles A. GREEN of Clifton, Monroe Co., NY, for the latest new fruit varieties he was selling for the 1879 growing season. This was scanned from an original issue of the New-York Weekly Tribune dated April 30, 1879, and you can see it online here:
