CASSIDY, BURTON "BUCKY"
Entered into rest on September 29, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 53
years Alice TAYLOR CASSIDY; his 12 children, Ronald (Donna), Barbara (Randy)
RICHENS, Timothy, Corrine (Kelly) MELVIN, Mary, Kevin (Sue) of Sterling,
Alaska, Anne (Donald) REID, Lorraine, Michael (Jearinine), Christopher, Carol
(Douglas) HAKE, and Amy (John) QUATELA; 24 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren;
sisters, Ruth LINGI and Doris (Herbert) MAGIN; brothers, James (Alice) and
Robert (Dorothy); sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces and nephews; special
family friend Darlene HARMOR-HAWKINS; and many friends. Bucky was a retired
volunteer fireman of 51 years and a WWII veteran in the US Army, 87th Infantry
Division.
Calling hours will be Monday 7-9 & Tuesday 2-4, 7-9 at the Leo M. Bean
Funeral Home Inc, 2771 Chili Ave. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:00 at
Holy Ghost Church, 220 Coldwater Rd. Interment Holy Ghost Cemetery. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Gates-Chili Fire Department or Genesee Hospital
Dialysis Unit in memory of Bucky.
