Richard Butman was/is the son of Clarence D. and Grace Savage Butman; his mother, Grace, was the daughter of my great-aunt, Mae Perkins Savage, who was my grandfather's (Charles Richard Perkins) youngest sister. In 1970, Grace was widowed, working as social director at the Hill Haven Nursing Home, and lived at #14 Sherwood Ave - son Richard was living with her & was a machinist at the time. In 1973, Richard was manager of the North Avenue Arco, and lived in an apartment in Webster. It's believed he left the area; apparently Grace, his mother, passed away around 1972. To my knowledge, Richard Butman is the only living descendant of my Perkins line, aside from myself, my half-siblings, and one cousin in Wilmington, DE. Anyone with knowledge of him, or who is able to contact him, is welcomed to share my e-mail address so that we might make contact. Through our shared Perkins line, Richard would be my 2nd cousin; we share the same great-grandfather, Richard Perkins. Many than!
