In the Rochester Times-Union, Monday Evening, May 7, 1945

Buffalo- (AP) - A 5-year old girl was dead and her mother and 4-year old brother were in serious condition today in Emergency Hospital after they were overcome by natural gas fumes in the kitchen of their home last night.
Dead were Brenda Seegar. Other victims were Mrs. Audrey D. Seegar, 23, and her son, Russell. Asistant Detective Chief John H. Schott said a gas pipe leading to the kitchen stove was found disconnected.
