I have all the census reports on Francis from 1850 until 1910 after which he passed away. I just need confirmation that Sarah's last name was Holmes. I have been to LDS library, however can find no documention on New York marriages for that area, at that time. A library in that New York area has graciously been looking at local records for me and they have also come up empty handed. For all I know Lovillia and Henry were born in Mich and the couple were married there. You can't always trust the census. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate that you went to such trouble to look. I will keep plugging. It usually turns out that when you least expect it a rainbow appears on the horizon.
