Mary Ostrom Gleason Blake, b. May 4, 1820, New York (poss. Onondaga Co.), d. July 31, 1877, Hartford, Van Buren, Michigan of "typhus fever." Daughter of Henry and Mary Ostrum (Ostrom), both of New York.

Her daughter, Sarah Jane Gleason, b. August 21, 1845, Monroe Co., NY, d. April 19, 1894 married Albert Ostrom (b. May 7, 1844 in Oswego Co., NY, d. January 15, 1904) in Van Buren County, MI on December 1, 1865.

Albert was likely Sarah's first cousin, son of Jacob Ostrom (b. New York, abt. 1816) and Betsey Irish, both of whom also came to Michigan from Clarkson, Monroe, NY.

Seeking any additional information available on these families.
