I have had some real good luck in Penfield by contacting the Penfield
Library. I am not real sure of the address but it is listed on the Monroe
Co. GenWeb site. They may have some of the records you are looking for.

I read the below Fellows in Penfield posting with interest.

I am looking for documentation of the birth of Cullen Rogers Cobb b. 30
July 1840 to Renssealer Warren Cobb and Mary Elizabeth Gibson and the
birth of Daniel Hudson Spear b. 15 April 1809. Both men were reputed to
have been born in Penfield.
