I'm trying to confirm the birth year and parents of my gggrandfather, Martin Holston. I have much info on him and he always stated that he was born in Rochester in the month of March. He mainly states that he was born in 1841 but other documents indicate it could have been anywhere from 1839 to 1846. He states that his father was Jonathan Holston and his mother was Sophia Blanchard. He also states that his father died when he was about two years old.

Would anyone have access to any Rochester directories or birth records from that time period to confirm the existence of either Jonathan or Martin Holston?
