Bob, the truth about the errors in the Rochester Marriage records online
site is that the early postings were done by a (offshore?) group that was
unfamiliar with American surnames. This work was paid for by a grant.
The later ones are being done by volunteer genealogists, and you will find
that they are very accurate.
I am certain that, if a genealogist of many years takes on a project, the
project will be done very well. Compare this to a group who does the work
for hire.
