I hope someone can give me some direction, please. GGGrandparents are listed in the 1870 census living in Mt. Morris. Frederick and Margaret Cooper, their daughter Caroline (Carrie); son Frederick; and daughter Lucinda. GGrandmother Carrie Nothnagel/le, married to Louis Nothnagel/le, is listed with her family in Rochester starting in 1880, the year they were married; and continue to be listed in 1890, 1900 & 1910. However, the Cooper family is not listed again. In 1900 Margaret Cooper is listed as living in the Rochester Alms House.
Louis Nothnagel, son of August and Virgel Dognson, was born in Rochester in 1858. However, his family is not listed anywhere. (Found parents on marriage certificate.)
Can someone suggest something as to how to find the Nothnagel family and further trace the Coopers?
