I am trying to find out what happened to Stephen G. Doremus b.17 Feb. 1861. Married Susie M. Denniston b.18 Feb. 1872. They were married 22 Oct. 1889, in Romulus, NY.
In the 1900 Census for Varick, Seneca, NY he is listed as Stephen Y Doremus, age 39. I can not find another record for him after 1900. I'm going crazy with this project!! He just disapeared!
In the 1920 Census Susie is married to Charles W. Graves (lost him to if anyone knows what happened to him)
1930 Census she is widowed but I can't find death info for either husband.
Also missing is Harold C. Doremus b.Oct 1894. He changed his name to Harry J Denniston sometime before 1919 though we have no idea why. The last record I have for him is the 1920 Census for Monroe Co., where he is listed as Harry J Denniston.
