I'm resending my reply to Charlene to the list as I thought I'd replied to all, but only sent it to her. Never know when something may hit somebody out trolling for names.

Hi Charlene

John Kase (Käs - Kaes) married Margaretha Lenhard, 15 Jan 1846. The marriage is recorded in the Lautzkirchen records. Their son Karl (Charles) married Theresa Paul, 19 June 1884, at Holy Family Church here in Rochester. Another child, Magdelena is her birth name but her marriage records her as Louise, married George Paul, 13 Nov 1889, also at Holy Family. Charles and Theresa had four daughters and three sons: Lauretta (b. 3/1885), Alfred (b. 8/1886), Charles (b. 9/1888), Alma (b. 10/1890), Ada (b. 11/1892), Ralph (b. 8/1897), and Celia (b. 7/1899).

Here is the obit of Charles:

"Kase - Entered into rest at his residence 888 Jay Street, Thursday morning September 13, 1923. Charles Kase, aged 61 years. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles McCabe, Mrs. Elmer Miller, and Mrs. John Decker, and three sons, Alfred, Charles, and Arthur, two sisters, Mrs. Henry Bubel and Mrs. George Paul and 13 grandchildren. Funeral Monday morning, September 17 at 8:15 at Holy Family Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre."

I don't know much about the children of John & Ada Decker, but I may be able to put you in contact with a cousin of mine, David Decker, who is a grandson of Ada's.

Margaret Lenhard is my great-great aunt, a sister to my great-grandfather, Michael Lenhard.

The Lenhard, Kase, Bubel and many other families that settled the Dutchtown area of Rochester all came from the village of Bierbach.

How do you tie into this family?

I am looking for information on John T Decker who married Ada M. Kase married in 1913 in Rochester, NY. They had several children, Clarence, Harriet, Jean, Donald and Harold. Any information on them would be greatly appreciated.
