Are you sure he was born in the 1870's? If he is the John Bubel b. 1882 married to a Florence on the 1920 census, he appears to be the son of John/Johann Bubel and Caroline Bohrer, b. 12/29/1882 and baptized at Holy Family. Do you have any info on this marriage?
