I've "rescued" an old photograph of Elizabeth Bacon ALLEN which was taken at
the Cornell & Saunders Studio in Rochester, New York. The photograph is
dated 1894 and notes that little Elizabeth is 3 years old at the time it was
taken. In addition to her name, someone has also noted that the photograph
came from the Estate of Cornelia OLMSTED. Thanks to the help of an ALLEN
Family Researcher I believe that Elizabeth was the daughter of Oliver ALLEN
and Mary BACON.



Oliver was a wealthy manufacturer and Elizabeth was their only child. In
1900 the family was living in LeRoy, NY and in 1910 they were living in
Buffalo, NY. I am hoping to locate someone from Elizabeth's family so that
this wonderful old photograph can be returned to family. If you are a
member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me.
