The site says to include the site in the search term box as well, I believe. I am only interested in Rochester area and you can imagine the surname March brings up thousands and thousands of hits (the month of the year)... but as was suggested,
putting the phrase in quotes and using a first name helps. Also, using more than one word and asking it to search for all words will narrow it down.

As a note of encouragement - I'd rather scroll past a few dozen useless hits to focus on some of the gems I've found. It keeps me thinking of creative ways to search for family members without getting 5000 results back!
