My grandmother was born in Glen Cove, 1874. Prior to 1912 or 1915 all the
records were kept iln the township of Oyster Bay. Some where in the data
files of rootsweb there was a list of hamlets, towns and villages. The
problem is trying to find out were the records are or where they were sent.
Nassau County, Glen Cove or do they still remain in Oyster Bay. My problem
is your problem, and it will be a matter of tilme and hard work before we
solve are puzzle. Good Luck.
