Hi all:
I am happy to announce the competition of the research on the Eardeley
Notes Project. W. A. Eardeley of Rockville Center created these notes in
the late 1800's to early 1900's. These original notes are all handwritten
and are based on historical data of many old Long Island Families. For the
past year plus Barbara Abrams and I have been taking our turns on
transcribing the notes from handwritten form to Family Tree Maker formats.
The notes are primarily based on the decedents of Charles Abrams (b 1651),
who lived in the Lynbrook, LI area. Many old south shore LI families are in
the index. We placed three early versions on our site. We now feel that
many errors have been corrected and the data on the Web is as accurate as
we can create at this time. Many people have provided data to me from all
over the USA. We have factored this data into Eardeley's Notes, and credit
is provided by comments in the database.
The index consists of:
3176 Individuals in 1111 familys
All of our research is on my Web
Page: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~abramsc/index.htm
Additional data on the Web Sites is of the Robert Davison Family which has:
6943 Individuals in 2449 familys
The Web page also contains data on the Rockville Cemetery, Lynbrook and
much more on LI History.
I hope everyone enjoys the latest addition.
