You may want to look to Newsday who's writer Ed Lowe just did a nice
piece on a Gentleman who died recently name Gene Brown. He was one of
the Tuskegee airmen in WWII and also became a German POW when his P-51
was shot down in combat. He lived in Amityville. You may be able to find
his family through the writer at Newsday. My husband was very close with
his son years back, but unfortunately lost touch.
