Subject: 1874 Church & Dr. George Hepworth

My ancestor Thomas Lowndes was married in NYC in 1874 to Eliza Burns. The
clergyman was Dr. George A. Hepworth. From 1872 to 1879, Hepworth was at the
(Presbyterian) Church of the Disciples, also called the Madison-Avenue Church
of the Disciples. The church's lecture room was located at Madison & 45th.

Although I have the civil record of my ancestor's marriage, I would like to
obtain the church record. The Presbyterian Church archivist in Philadelphia
was unable to shed any light on where the records for this church are today.

Can anyone help?
