I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the list manager and all of the listers for
letting me post the obituaries found in my local paper.
The reason is simple. I have six people in Toronto in 190, GGGM, Christina
Corney, 80, GUncle Henry W Corney, 52, GAunt Elizabeth H Reid Corney, 48,
Harriet E Corney, 26 and 31 & Spinster in 1907 and Lawrence Allen Corney
married in 1907 to Sibyl Jane McDonald & 32 in 1917 when he joined the
Canadian Expeditionary Forces. These people are not on file at the Canadian
Archives, the Canadian free BMD so guess they are still alive :)
Without the release of the Canadian 1911 census, which may not happen, to
get an approx time they disappear from Census for death dates, they will
remain lost. Cannot ask for a lookup because they years range from may 2-3
for Christina to 15+years for the others. I belong to the Toronto Obit List
in hopes someone will be doing back years and I will find them.
So my looking in my paper daily and sending obituaries to various lists
where they can do some good is in hopes of helping someone who is
desparately looking for ancestors.
So many many thank to you all for allowing this.
