My Grandmother's brother was a police officer in NYC. I am trying to get
information about him. I wrote to the Comissioner and they did a search
but couldn't find anything. Now I wonder if the # on his badge, in phots,
is a presinct number not a shield number. The # 453 is in the center of
the badge, sort of cut out. Does anybody have knowledge of bages and/or
presinct numbers?
