Hello, Pat, Floreda and all........
All members of the New York Genealogical & Biographical Society have
remote, on-line access to the whole ProQuest digitized New York Times,
from 1851 to 1998....
This access is *fully word searchable*, and available to you *on your
home computer* if you are a G&B member---many folks have become new
members just to have this valuable resource at their fingertips in the
comfort of their homes...
See this URL for more details:
http://nygbs.org/info/articles/ProQuest1.html
I have this access at home, since I am a Life Member of the
Society---and it's a *great* resource!
Good Luck,
Jim Garrity
