Dear friends,
Is anyone ever heard the surname : Sacheelo (or like it). My ggrandfather
was born as Sacheelo but he changed it because an unknown reason. He was
born in 1873 in the little town of Sochovola, Poland – Russia. It is located
between Bialystock and Grodno.
There is a possibility that there was another town there in the name:
Sacheelovka, and that Jews from Italy came to this town many years ago.
Does someone know more details?
