I have tried about everything to locate this family. Is there anything more you can add (with luck someone else was able to find more than I did). Abt. how much older was Mary? Were John and James younger or older than Henry? Do you know exact date of birth for Henry?
All I could come up with (various spellings showed nothing). I did find a Henry in 1910 census seven years old at the Orphan Home of the Sorrowful Mother--listed on Bogart St., Harrison Place, Morgan Ave, and Ingraham Street. There was no John or James, but also found an Anna 8yrs, and Julia 6. There parents were listed as born in Germany. At a different address, there was a Mary Wolf, 15 yrs working as a servant, BUT she was born in Germany. Could Mary have been born in Germany? The date she arrived here was hard to read. Could have been 1907, 1901, or 1909 (if 1909, would be too late for other siblings to have been born here).
In 1920 Census I found a John 10, Martha, 10, and Florence Wolf 14 at a German Roman Catholic Orphan Asylum--I doubt these are any relation. Most frustrating knowing records are out there, and yet nothing shows up. None of these children really fit your description. If there is any thing more you can add, it could be most helpful. What last name did Harry, James and John use as adults? Was it Wolf or Wolfe. I can try to go backward, but for now can't find much to help you.
