Also....with this large a family, you could go after the Social Security Applications of the siblings...and see what they put down for the name of their parents. There may be the name of their parents on their death certificates as well. Also there should be New York City birth indexes that you might want to look at looking for these siblings, now that you have an idea of their birth years. I'm sure there are other strategies as well that should keep you busy for a long long long time.
