Reg,

Harry Lindemann's enlistment record specifically states he was from New York County. Although to be sure, I did an search in the upstate New York State Vital Records Index for Harry's birth and death. Harry is not in those records, so I am certain he was from NYC.

I did a search through the New York Times electronic archives and was not successful in finding and obit or article on Harry's death. I appreciate your research suggestions and will try those avenues.
