You can find out if there was a divorce ...and obtain the case number but you cannot obtain the divorce records unless the divorce took place at least 100 years ago or longer.

Divorce was only granted on adultery charges until the mid 1900's or later. I don't remember the exact date.

To the best of my knowledge this information can only be obtained in person but things may have changed. The 100 year rule has not.
