143 West 49th is listed as the address of the Hotel Plymouth in some old news stories. I suspect that the restaurant was in the lobby of the hotel. I believe that the building no longer exists. Although I'm not in New York, that address is pretty much under Rockefeller Center. Many smaller buildings were torn down to build RC.
