In the New York State Census of 1905, 61 Sheriff St. was in the 12th A.D., 8th E.D. 74 Sheriff in 16 AD, 1 ED. 83 Sheriff in 16 AD, 2 ED. 126 Sheriff in 16 AD, 6 ED. I believe the high concentration of population in the Lower East Side forced each E.D. to be small in area. If so, the address of interest to you (112) may not be in the same E.D. as 126.

An address from the 1900 census need not be the locale of the same family in other censuses---something to do with families fleeing the rent collector.
