Indexes to deaths in New York City are available at the New York Public Library on Fifth Avenue. Microfilms can be rented at branch libraries of the Family History Library (Salt Lake City). The catalog entry for the indexes can be seen online at :

The names of the parents of Margaret DOYLE, and her birthplace, would be on the SS-5 form she filled out when applying for a Social Security card. The government charges $27.00 for a copy of the SS-5 and it takes several months to obtain.
