Anita, what do you actually know about this person?

Is the first name George a guess, based on finding that record in the death index?

Do you already have your grandmother's TRIMBORN family in a census so that we could narrow down the time frame and probable first name? I find no George TRIMBORN (or variant spelling) in the 1900 census in NY.

It may be possible to find an obituary for your grandmother's brother if I can get a little bit more information about his parents and siblings and the time frame.
